Torture....pure torture!
Why do we do it to ourselves? I had to go and get a gift for my friend and her baby...so instead of going online like I always do...I went to Babies R Us....WHYYYYYYYYY did I do it! I said I was just going to go in and get Nico something and leave...well I HAD to walk around and look at things...and dream about the stuff I would buy.
When we finished our homestudy...I went on line and registered for a few things...now looking back...I am embarrest that I did that...but knowing now what I know...I would have never done that. We thought our wait would have been 4 months...so here we are on month 7 and still no baby.
So as I was walking around the store there were these 4 obnoixious women....talking about what their daughter had and what they had registered for and what was the BEST thing to buy...I couldn't get away fast enough from them...I figured, I don't need any negative vibes thank you!
So after I walked around....dreaming of what I would buy if is a girl...or boy...I had to get out of there! I walked to the register and just my luck of the day...the women were beind me...UGH! So I said a few prayers and asked God to help me get thru this and I walked out and thanked him for not letting me lose my mind! I know that there was a reason for me to go in there...just not sure what it is yet. I will let you know when I figure it out!

Aww, that had to be difficult. I am so sorry that those women were there and torturing you. While so far the wee baby has stayed put in my uterus, we cannot look at those baby stores because we don't have any money. I hear newborns fit well in dresser drawers. OK, I am kidding. A friend is giving us their crib. Thankfully, or it really would have been a drawer.
I understand - Scott couldn't even go into the baby section of any story until we were picked.
Don't feel bad about looking and starting a registery. I have had a registery there since Jan of last year I think. It was my way of waiting. Hard part was changing the "expected date" Dummy me - original date was last Christmas. I used to go in at least 2x a week just to browse too.
I know your day is coming - and I am going to go shopping with you!

yOU are amazing for even going in. dave used to do all our "shower shopping". You Will look back and appreciate everything ALL the more someday. And You will Always remember and be there for others in the same shoes.
