Your hands...

Did you ever look at your hands one day and think...Man I am getting old?! I remember when my hands were so pretty...maybe I am in a little funk right now...i have a few broken nail (totally unlike me) and I feel like all this stress with the adoption is making me look and feel older. I have always loved who I am...whether I am up on the scale or down on the scale. I have always loved my face...always thought I was beautiful...flawless...gosh I sound so...well sure of myself...I always wondered why women would put themselves through the pain of plastic surgery...my gosh why would you want to do that to the body that god gave you? He made your body...you have no right to alter it. Well now that I am getting closer to 40...well I am still 35 but some days feel closer to 60! I look in the mirror and I am starting to see...oh my gosh...wrinkles! I have always tried to take such good care of my skin...cleanser, cream, sun screen...everything to prevent aging...but I think we all lose that battle at some point...But I don't want to lose it now...it is way to early for that! So when I look at my hands I see this 35 year old woman...with not so young hands anymore.
